Race Replay
It's a race against the storm as we come to our final Breeders' Cup qualifier of the day, the Secretariat Memorial Stakes. It's 13 stallions and mares that come to the post here lead by a strong contigent from Rhapsody, as near Triple Crown winner Skeptic leads the way with Vintage not far behind. Hard Tack comes with Cyclone Princess and Belmont Stakes winner Rancor, who denied Skeptic his crown just a month ago; Shashka returns with American Pharaoh and Turn & Burn will add more speed into the mix with three year old filly Rozlyn. Burning Acres comes in with speedball Dortmund, a major contender on the TC Crown this year, while BlueJay comes in guns blazing with Mezzanotte and SeaBlue Royalty riding a two race win streak. FiL makes their BC debut with Desperado, along with Sunrise Stables appearing on the scene with Augustus, a top two year old prospect facing elders. Black Water Estate will run for the first time in their new colors and send out speedster Bells o War, while Palecat sends out top handicapper Milano for his chance at glory after a disappointing run last year. The thunder is out in full force as these 13 horses step onto the track and make their way to the starting gate; no one seems bothered much by the upcoming storm, but it'll still be a race against the clock as they wait for the start in this year's Secretariat Memorial Stakes!
