Race Replay
Last week we saw dual classic winner Skeptic blaze his way to victory after two disappointing efforts to earn his spot in the Classic and this time around a field of 11 will look to grab that final spot in the starting gate. Shashka's American Pharoah leads the pack as the narrow victory with Burning Acres' speedy Dortmund not far behind, and those two will undoubtably be vying for the lead with Hard Tack's Cyclone Princess looking to pick up the pieces as the dual classic winner looks to improve on her second place finish. Rhapsody returns once again with late running Chaos and Vintage as Vintage looks to add a dirt berth to his resume; Sunfire is fresh off their own turf victory with Augustus looking to make it a double, while Burning Acres' Armin looks to rebound off a disappointing Distaff run. BlueJay returns with Distaff qualifier SeaBlue Royalty looking to beat up the boys to make her own double with FiL coming back once again with speedy colt Desperado, to make the pace scenario that much more interesting. Black Water Estate's hard knocking Bells o War comes back for more as he tries to snap a losing skein while Polluted Stables makes their debut with Call me Ishmael, the longest shot on the board and taking a huge step up in class. These 11 colts and fillies will make their way to the track here in a field loaded with speed, speed and more speed as they all vie for that final spot for the Classic in this year's Cigar Handicap!
