This is basically just a fancy halt posing service designed to help more people get interested in Dressage...Not really sure where to put it but it's more of a service than a show so I'll put it here. I'll post the competitions related to the clinic in the actual Dressage shows board.
You may send in your horses for posing if they need a halt pose, or if they already have a halt pose, you can just enter them and keep them at home. I'll do my best to attain a Halter-quality pose for each horse that's sent in, but it'll definitely be good enough for Dressage, Eventing, and In-Hand. A lot of popular mods are unlevel, and sometimes the horse just won't cooperate, so Halter-quality is not a guarantee, though I will try!
BONUS: There will be a graphic award for participating in the clinic (a button/ribbon/banner or something, I'll figure it out!) If you send in your horses, I can also try to get some gaiting or jumping poses that you can use for other disciplines if you want.
This is a 4-day clinic! At the end of each day, a quick competition will be held. Depending on how well the horses perform, they may move up a level in dressage. Each competition will be like any other Dressage show, where the judge rolls 8 dice and adds 20 to the score, except horses at the TRAINING level will instead have a 25 added, for the extra 'clinic boost'. The requirements for graduating a level remain the same as all other Dressage shows. The best thing about this clinic is that it's basically FOUR Dressage shows in a short amount of time, with an extra boost for training level horses, so it's a really good opportunity for horses just starting out. It's possible to achieve fourth level by the end of the clinic, though it's really unlikely.
Rules
♦ Up to 5 horses per person
♦ Unlimited entries total
♦ Only horses that are at the training level for Dressage are eligible! (If they've done competitions before, it's fine as long as they're still in training.)
♦ The clinic stops accepting entries on May 23rd & will be held May 25th-28th
This clinic is completely free to enter! If you want me to pose your horses, send them to jewellzc@yahoo.com along with any textures they require. I can accept horses in P4 or P5, but I'd prefer P4 if possible! (If they're for P5, please mention that in the e-mail!)
Form for horses being sent in for poses:
If your horse doesn't need posing but you don't want to miss out on the competitions, this is the form for you!:
(also I will enter them in the comps, so you just enter them here and that's it!)
I plan on enrolling some of my own horses in the clinic since the scores in the competitions will be completely random. Any horses sent to me will be sent back with their pose/s at the end of the clinic! Just remember if you use any poses I've taken to give me credit underneath them.
