Meydan Racecourse in Dubai is one of the prettiest racetracks you'll ever see and has set the stage for some of the best showdowns racing has ever seen. Horses from all over the world converge on Dubai in the spring months of the year, and it is no different as SS continues its inaugural season, culminating in the Dubai Carnival Series headlined by the Dubai World Cup!
The UAE Derby is limited to horses that have raced in at least one prep for the 2019 Triple Crown or Triple Tiara!

Race Replay
We return to the main track for the 3 year old feature, with 6 colts and fillies on the Triple Trail looking to make another statement in Dubai in this year's UAE Derby!
Rhapsody leads the field as usual with the ever-consistent Illicit and after a win in the last two Derby preps, the daughter of Chaos will look to make a statement in Dubai. Her arch-rival Elysium is right behind her in the betting and is one of only two speedsters in the race, and has already shown a propensity for running her foes off their feet. Lani is hot on their heels and will look to pick up the pieces of any duel up on the front end, while Damask will look to pounce off their heels and sweep past with one of his dramatic off the pace runs. General Disarray is the second closer in the race and has shown a recent drop off in forum, but the hard knocking brother of Illicit always gives it his all. Djinn rounds out the field as the longshot on the board, and the swift-footed daughter of Ruffian will look to take her half-sister out at the beginning with her quick turn of foot.
The sun is shining and spring is finally in the air as our Triple Crown and Tiara hopefuls hit the dirt for this year's UAE Derby!
